기업의 마케팅이나 전략 담당자들과 이야기하다 보면, 왠만한 요즘의 기업들은 ‘고객들은 모두 같지 않다’라고 하는, 고객 중심 전략의 가장 핵심이 되는 개념에 대해서는 비교적 잘 이해를 하고 있는 것을 본다. 물론, 이해를 하는 것과 이를 잘 실행을 하는 것은 또 다른 이야기겠으나, 적어도 대부분의 회사들이 고객들을 유사한 니즈를 갖고 있는 그룹으로 나누고, 다양한 고객 segment 중 회사의 역량과 자원에 따라 보다 효율적으로 공략할 수 있는 segment를 선택하고 집중하는 customer segmentation의 개념을 이해하고 시도하고 있는 것을 본다...
