Innomove Group is an innovation firm. We work in the following business domains.

• Innovation development. We create innovative new businesses. We are not VC or incubator for other developers, but build businesses ourselves. We exit by selling. We believe our job is to build, not to run. As the first product, we opened rankrz (www.rankrz.com).
• Innovation consulting. We can help others innovate. We can deliver innovation ideas and implement together. In this case, we want to share the upside, charging much lower fees than traditional consulting firms.
• Innovation contents. We will publish our ideas through various online and offline media.

Hyokon Zhiang

Hyokon founded Innomove Group in 2004. At Innomove Group, he has helped companies and investors identify innovation opportunities in diverse areas including online and offline bookstores, e-learning, furniture, mobile phone, consumer product, sports wear, restaurants, game, and insurance.

At Bain & Company, he recommended developing the first online auto insurance company which now has revenue of 400 million USD. He also strategized the first online life insurance business unit for a major offline life insurance company in Korea. At Bain Korea, he was the top-performing manager and was the first recipient of the best coach award.

At CJ, a large consumer product and service group, he led the development of a new beverage called SolEuiNun, which became a steady seller and is regarded as a unique product. At A.T. Kearney, he worked on some early broadband Internet projects in Europe. He also worked at STAR TV in Hong Kong.

He received an MBA as the top student in finance from Kellogg School of Northwestern University, and studied economics at Seoul National University. Having played guitar in a college rock band, he still enjoys watching rock music videos. He also likes reading popular physics books.

 

Chihyung Song

Chihyung joined Innomove Group in 2007. At Innomove Group, he is in charge of technical development.

Before joining Innomove Group, he worked at Danal Corporation. At Danal, he developed mobile payment framework, which is used in many payment systems in Korea and China. The ‘Risk Management’ model for mobile payment that Chihyung developed at Danal is widely used in Korea and China, especially for the fraud detection.

He translated many IT books into Korean including ‘Java Puzzler’, ‘Holub on Pattern’, ‘Refactoring Workbook’. He studied computer science and economics at Seoul National University.
